<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 2nd day of June, 2003, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Schroeder, Klausing, Maschka, and Kysylyczyn <br /> <br />and the following were absent: Kough <br /> <br />Council Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10100 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 2 FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.02D5 OF <br />THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />1321 RYAN AVENUE (PF 3472) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, John Bentfield has requested a variance to Section 1004.02D5 (Dwelling <br />Dimensions - Side Yard Setback) of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction ofa <br />detached accessory building (garage) and driveway 3 feet from his side yard (east) property line; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Bentfield parcel is located at 1321 Ryan Avenue and legally described <br /> <br />as: <br /> <br />The East ~ of Lot 19 & all of Lot 20, Block 11, <br />Midway Hills Rearrangement of Como Garden Lots <br />PIn 15-29-23-13-0043 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.02D5 of the Roseville City Code requires a minimum side <br />yard setback of 5 feet for all detached accessory buildings and driveways;; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Bentfield seeks approval to allow construction of a detached accessory <br />building and driveway 3 feet from his east (side yard) property line; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Bentfield variance request (Section 1004.02D5) on May 7, 2003, and recommended (4-0) <br />approval of the request, based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of <br />the project report dated May 7, 2003. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant John <br />Bentfield a 2 foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.02D5 (Dwelling Dimensions - Side Yard <br />setback) of the Roseville City Code allowing the construction of a detached accessory building <br />(garage) and driveway at 1321 Ryan Avenue, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1 <br />
