Johnson, McDonagh <br />INTRODUCTIONS <br />1. <br />ROLL CALL/PUBLIC COMMENT <br />2. <br />No public comment. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES –January3,2016MEETING <br />3. <br />Commissioner Bole requested to amend theattendance record from the January 3, 2017meeting,as he was <br />present.Commissioner Warzecha noted that the staff reporthad an omitted line. <br />Commission Recommendation: <br />Commissioner Diedrick movedto approveminutes asamended, Commissioner Bole seconded. Motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />CEDARHOLM GOLF COURSE CLUBHOUSE REPLACEMENT PROJECT <br />4. <br />Brokke introducedrepresentatives fromHagan,Christensen&McIlwain(HCM). The City of Roseville <br />previously utilized HCM to develop the concept plans for the newpark buildings duringthe renewal <br />program.Brokke reiterated that community and Commissioner input is highly encouragedduring the <br />Cedarholm design process. <br />Tim McIlwainand Dan Lawrencewith HCM introducedthemselvesto the Commission.After reviewing <br />the Cedarholm Advisory Team Final Report HCM has created a site diagram, whichconsists of general <br />opportunities and goals for the Cedarholm Design Project.The site diagram is the first stepto developing <br />space programs, square footagenumbers and concept plans. <br />McIlwain presentedtheSite, Building and Operational Goalslisted on the HCM Site Opportunities Study <br />dated February 1, 2017: <br />Site Goals <br />•Provide safer and better circulation in the parking area for cars and deliveries <br />•Expand and improve parking <br />•Improve public visibility of the facility through building location and signage <br />•Improve the entry sequence to the building <br />•Provide a larger entry staging area for golfers <br />•Maximize the use of the site buildable area <br />st <br />•Improve the configuration andflow of the Clubhouse, putting green and 1tee <br />•Building siting/location to enhance views of the course <br />Building Goals <br />•Create a facility that supports golf operations but is multi-purpose and flexible for other uses such as: <br />-Rentals for family, social or business events <br />-Community Gathering Space <br />-Presentations and events <br />The critical operational and functional goal is to provide golf space to the golfers. However, <br />it is also importantto ensure that a flexible space is created. <br />•Consider additional building "tenants" such as the Historical Society <br />Estimated square footagerequirementsfor the Historical Society is 1,300square feet. <br /> <br />
