Milner Carley, Village Engineer, <br />æld Ira Karon, Villa~e Attorney, were also present. <br /> <br />Connor ~oved, seconded by Membrez, that reading of minutes be waived and <br />approved as corrected according to copies furnished each member of the Council. <br />Roll call Ayes-(5) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />The Clerk read the petition presented by Edward and Geraldine Willmus and the <br />report of the ~oning Board for the rezoning of the following described property: <br /> <br />"Twin View, a subdivision in said Village, the NE 1/4 of the ml[ 1/4 <br />of the ~1 1/4, the east 330 feet of the SE 1/4 of the SVi 1/4 of <br />the ffiV 1/4 lying north of County Road "C", all in the \1{ 1/2 of <br />the SV( 1/4 of Section h, Township 29, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota" <br />from Residential and Farming to Industrial. <br />There being no one present objecting and i:.he report of the Zoning Board re- <br />co~~ended that the property be rezoned, Carlson moved, Hanmersten seconded, that <br />the petition be granted. Roll call Ayes-(5) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />The Clerk read the petition presented by John Bouthilet and the report of <br />the Zoning Board for the rezoning of the following described property: <br /> <br />"The East 297 feot of the West3JO feet of the South 280 feot of <br />the North 1/2 of the ~y 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 14, Town 29, <br />Range 23 W. II froll. Farm Residence to Business. <br /> <br />There being no one present objecting and the report of the Zoning Board re- <br />COID111ended that the property be rezoned, Hammersten moved, seconded by Willmus, that <br />the petition be granted. Roll call AJres-(.5) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Connor moved, seconded by Hammerston, that Ordinance No. 149, which is the <br />new zoning ordinance with anendments, be adopted. Roll call Ayes-(5) NayeR-(O). <br /> <br />Willmus moved, seconded by Hammersten, that we advertise for bids for gravel, <br />crushed rock and culverts, and they be opened on March 17 at 2 P.M. Roll call <br />Ayes-(.5) Nayes-( 0). <br /> <br />Membrez moved, seconded by Hammersten, that Ordinance No. 150, pertaining to <br />dogs, be adopted. Roll call Ayes-(5) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Connor moved, seconded by Hammersten, that the Clerk secure and have erected <br />four bulletia boards- locations to be Woodruff and So. McCarrons Blvd., Snelling <br />and COURty Road B, the Old Village Hall and the Municipal Building. Roll call <br />Ayes-(5) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />The Clerk read a letter from the Mutual Service regarding an insurance policy <br />on the Village Hall and garage. It was suggested the Clerk write a letter to <br />Mr. Herness, the agent, and have him contact Mr. Karon with a policy showing the <br />coverage included. <br /> <br />Membrez moved, seconded by Hammersten, that we pUlthase one Double Burglary <br />Proof Class "E" Money Chest for the No. 2 liquor store at Lexington and Dionne. <br />Roll call Ayes-(5) Nayes-(O). <br />
