No audience member <br />indicated they wished to make a public comment. <br /> <br />3) APPROVAL OF MINUTES – APRIL 5, 2022 MEETING <br /> <br />Vice-Chair Hoag moved to approve the minutes.Commissioner Arneson seconds. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes:Arneson, Boulton,Brown, Dahlstrom,Hoag, Lenhart, Matts-Benson. <br />Nays: None. <br />Abstain: None. <br /> <br />4) PARK DEDICATION REVIEW AND RECOMMENDATION – 3080-3110OLD HIGHWAY <br />8 <br />Staff provided an overview of the purpose, options and process for Park Dedication. Location maps <br />of the development located at 3080-3110Old Highway 8were reviewed by the Commission. The <br />development is located in ConstellationA of the Parks and Recreation System Master Plan. There <br />are no specific park plans identified in this area in the Master Plan. <br />The proposal for 3080-3110 Old Highway 8includes 3 lots on 8.50 acres. The project qualifies for <br />Park Dedication. The development is residential with 239 total units. The cash amount would be <br />$4,250 per unit or $1,015,750. The land amount would be 10% of 8.5 acres or .85 acres. <br />Staff noted that therehas been general feedback about the increase in use at Sandcastle Park with <br />some concerns about after hour use of the basketball court. <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
