VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE Regular Meeting of the Village Council, April 24, 1967. 7:30 P.M. The Village Council met on the above date with the following members present: Mayor Cedarholm, Trustees Curley, Grauel and Goodrich. Absent: Trustee Shields. Grauel Moved, Curley Seconded, that the minutes of the regular meeting of April 17, 1967, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). MINUTES Mayor Cedarholm opened the public hearing on Improvement 67-10. PUBLIC HEARING IMPROVEMENT 67-10 The Village Manager presented an affidavit showing publication of Notice of Hearing on proposed Storm Drainage Improvement No. 67-10 in accordance with the resolution adopted March 20, 1967, which affidavit was examined and found to be satisfactory and was directed to be filed by the Manager. The Village Manager also exhibited a Certificate of Mailing Notice of Hearing to all affected property owners, which certificate was examined and found to be satisfactory and was directed to be filed by the Manager. The Mayor then directed the Manager to read the description of the general nature and estimated cost of the proposed improvement and the area proposed to be assessed therefor, as stated in the published notice of hearing. After reading of the notice, all persons present were afforded opportunity to be heard, and the names and addresses of the persons appearing and heard by the Council, and the substance of the views presented by them were as follows: MR. L. A. CHARBONEAU, 2565 Herschel: If the improvement is ordered by the Council, when would construction begin and when would the assessment begin. Also wanted to know the formula for the assessment to be placed on the Dayton property. MR. RALPH R. DORSCH, 1722 Oakcrest: Wanted to know the number of acres for which Dayton's would be assessed. Questions re benefitted area and future improvements. MR. MILO NIELSEN, 1799 Rose P lace: Inquired as to the size of the catch basins that would be installed. Some of the present ones are large enough for children to get into and he wanted to know if the new ones would be that size, and if so, would there be some kind of protective covering. MR. GEORGE LINDGREN, 1728 Oakcrest: In favor of the improve- ment. Immediately behind his house there's a ditch that was dug by a contractor. Wanted to know if there would be a catch basin south of Oakcrest immediately behind his property, or where the Village ditch runs in County Ditch No.4. MR. JOSEPH RESEMIUS, 1762 Oakcrest: Wanted to know if any future sewers would be drained into the 78 inch proposed pipes and if so, would they be able to handle it.
