<br />Regular Meeting of the City Council... August 9, 1976,

<br />The City Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen Hess, Anderson,
<br />Curley and Grauel.
<br />
<br />A.. 1 Grauel Moved, Curley Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting
<br />of July 26, 1976, be approved, Roll Call, Ayes: Anderson,
<br />Curley, Grauel and Demos. Nays: None, Abstentions: Hess.
<br />Councilman Hess was absent from the meeting.
<br />
<br />B.l Anderson Moved, Hess Seconded, that Marriott Corporation's
<br />request for on-sale wine license at the Hot Shoppe Cafeteria
<br />located in the Rosedale Shopping Center be approved with the
<br />condition that the Marriott Corporation provide the City a
<br />copy of their insurance policy, Roll Call, Ayes: Hess,
<br />Anderson, Curley, Grauel and Demos, Nays: None,

<br />Curley Moved, Grauel Seconded, that Steak & Ale request
<br />for special use permit and division of lot at 1893 West
<br />Highway 36 be continued to the meeting of September 13, 1976.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Hess, Anderson, Curley, Grauel and Demos.
<br />Nays: None.

<br />B.3 Grauel Moved, Hess Seconded, that Harry Kath's request for
<br />preliminary plat "Kath IS Subdivision" and special use permit
<br />at 2425 Rice Street be continued to the meeting of September 13,
<br />1976, Roll Call, Ayes: Hess, Anderson, Curley, Grauel and
<br />Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />B-4 Hess Moved, Anderson Seconded, that Michels Construction Co.
<br />request for final plat approval "Michels Lake Park" at 2500 North
<br />Hamline Avenue be continued until the meeting of August 23,
<br />1976. Roll Call, Ayes: Hess, Anderson, Curley, Grauel and
<br />Demos 0 Nays: None,
<br />
<br />B-S Anderson Moved, Hess Seconded, that Ken Reinhardt's request
<br />for final plat approval "Ken Reinhardt Addition No.3" at about
<br />907 Sherren be continued until the meeting of September 27,1976,
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Hess, Anderson, Curley, Grauel and Demos. Nays:
<br />None,

<br />B-6 Curley Moved, Hess Seconded, that James Sweeney's request for
<br />final plat "Sweeney's Southview Heights" at about the 1700
<br />block of Alameda be approved and that Mr. Sweeney will provide
<br />the City a purification easement on the pond. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Hess, Anderson, Curley, Grauel and Demos, Nays: None.

<br />B-7 Grauel Moved, Hess Seconded, that Niemec & Burrow, Inc.
<br />request for rezoning from R-l to B..l and B- 2 at 2381 North
<br />Rice Street be approved, Roll Call, Ayes: Hess, Anderson,
<br />Curley, Grauel and Demos. Nays: None,
