<br />Regular Meeting of the City Council - May 23, 1983.
<br />
<br />The City Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Kehr, Curley, Franke, Johnson, and Demos.
<br />Absent: None.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Franke Seconded, that the minutes of the May 9,
<br />1983 meeting be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Curley,
<br />Franke, Johnson, and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that the Council join with the
<br />Mayor in proclaiming June 14 through July 4, 1983, as the
<br />time for displaying the flag. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr,
<br />Curley, Franke, Johnson, and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Johnson Moved, Franke Seconded, that a Council Work Session
<br />be established for 4:00 p.m., Monday, June 6, 1983, at the
<br />Roseville City Hall, for the purpose of discussing policy
<br />items relating to public works and public safety. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Kehr, Curley, Franke, Johnson, and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Kehr Moved, Franke Seconded, to close applications and schedule
<br />interviews for the Human Rights applicants at a Council Work
<br />Session scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Monday, June 13, 1983. Roll
<br />Call, Ayes: Kehr, Curley, Franke, Johnson, and Demos. Nays:
<br />None.

<br />Demos Moved, Franke Seconded, that the City Manager and City
<br />Attorney be instructed to take appropriate action to condemn
<br />property owned by PIK Terminal Company, legally described as:
<br />
<br />All that part of Lots 5, 6, and 7, Block D, Twin View,
<br />Described as follows:
<br />
<br />Except the East 57 feet and except part lying South
<br />and Westerly of the following described line:
<br />
<br />Commencing at a point 78.15 feet North and 57 feet
<br />West of the Southeast corner of Lot 7 of said Block
<br />D; thence West and parallel to the South line of said
<br />Lot 7, 200 feet; thence Northwesterly to a point on
<br />the North line of Lot 5 of said Block D; said point
<br />being 309.25 feet East of the Northwest corner of
<br />said Lot 5 and there terminating.
