<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the City Council - October 8, 1984. <br /> <br />The City Council met on the above date with the following members <br />present: Curley, Johnson, Kehr, Franke, and Demos. Members absent: <br />None. <br /> <br />7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />A-I Franke moved, Johnson seconded that the minutes of the September MINUTES <br />24, 1984 meeting be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Franke, <br />and Demos. Nays: None. Abstained: Curley and Kehr, because they <br />were absent. <br /> <br />Franke moved, Johnson seconded that the November 12 meeting be <br />cancelled because it is a holiday, and establishing regular <br />meetings for November 13 and November 26. Roll Call, Ayes: <br />Curley, Johnson, Kehr, Franke, and Demos. Nays: None. <br /> <br />NOVEMBER COUNCIL <br />MEETINGS <br /> <br />B-1 Kehr moved, Franke seconded that Metropolitan Recovery Corporation's METROPOLITAN <br />request for amendment to the zoning code be continued to the RECOVERY <br />October 22, 1984 regular Council Meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, CORPORATION <br />Johnson, Kehr, Franke, and Demos. Nays: None. <br /> <br />B-2 <br /> <br />B-3 <br /> <br />B-4 <br /> <br />8-5 <br /> <br />Curley moved, Kehr seconded that Belair Builder's request for <br />amendment to the comprehensive plan from limited business and <br />residential to general business at 1912 Lexington be approved. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Curley and Kehr. Nays: Johnson, Franke and <br />Demos. (Motion Failed) <br /> <br />Curley moved, Kehr seconded that Nazareth Building Association's <br />request for rezoning from R-1 to B-2 at 2561 Snelling be approved. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Johnson, Kehr, Franke, and Demos. Nays: <br />None. <br /> <br />Curley moved, Kehr seconded that Nazareth Building Association's <br />proposal to dedicate right-of-way for the intersection improvement <br />at Snelling and the Frontage Road be approved; and that Nazareth <br />Building Association petition for the roadway improvement with the <br />method of financing to be determined in the future. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Curley, Johnson, Kehr, Franke, and Demos. Nays: None. <br /> <br />BELAIR BUILDERS <br /> <br />NAZARETH <br />BUILDING <br />ASSOCIATION <br /> <br />Curley moved, Kehr seconded that Ordinance No. 963, rezoning the ORDINANCE 963 <br />property at 2561 Snelling Avenue from R-l to B-2 be adopted. Roll <br />Call, Ayes: Curley, Johnson, Kehr, Franke, and Demos. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Johnson moved, Curley seconded that Twin City Federal's request for <br />special use permit and variances to bring the existing parking <br />setbacks into conformance with City Code at 2167 Lexington be <br />approved, with the condition that the project be developed in <br />accordance with plans dated 9/5/84. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, <br />Johnson. Kehr, Franke, and Demos. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Curley moved, Kehr seconded that C.R. Hakworthy's request for <br />rezoning from R-1 to R-2, preliminary plat and 3.5 foot variances <br />to sideyard setbacks at 171 Center Street be denied.
