CITY OF ROSEVILLE Regular meeting of the city Council - May 14, 1990. 7:30 P.M. The city council met on the above date with the following ROLL CALL members present: Johnson, Thomas, Maschka, Cushman, and Rog. Members absent: None. Cushman arrived at 7:55 p.m. A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES A-I Johnson moved, Maschka seconded, that the minutes of MINUTES the regular meeting of April 23, 1990, be approved with the following amendment to Item C-3, Welsh Companies, Condition No.7, second paragraph, to read as follows: "That landscaping be provided along the north property line contiguous to the residential properties. That a fence be constructed, preferably not more than ten feet or less than eight feet in height unless a sight line analysis conducted by the city determines the height should be more than ten feet. The fence shall be built before other construction occurs, and be along the north property line contiguous to the residential property." Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Thomas, Maschka, and Rog. Nays: None. B. B-1 CONSENT AGENDA Thomas moved, Maschka seconded, that Mary Walser's request for a 15.4 foot minor variance, to add a 16'6" x 14' family room off the back of an existing dwelling at 718 Eldridge, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Thomas, Maschka, and Rog. Nays: None. MARY WALSER B-2 Thomas moved, Maschka seconded, that the following minor variances, in accordance with the City's policy concerning minor variances for driveway side yard set- backs, be approved: BLANKET MINOR VARIANCES 1. Clayton and Patricia Johnson request for a five foot variance at 2986 Mildred Drive. 2. Wendy Lee Thompson request for a five foot variance at 2938 Mildred Drive. 4. Keith Grewe request for a three foot variance at 2081 Hand Avenue. 5. Russell J. Caflisch request for a five foot variance at 2053 Giesmann street. 6. Gordon P. Dahlen request for a two and one-half foot variance at 319 Burke Avenue W. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Thomas, Maschka, and Rog. Nays: None.
