<br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES
<br />Maschka moved, Thomas seconded, that the minutes of
<br />the regular meeting of July 23, 1990 be approved.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Thomas, Johnson, and Rog.
<br />Nays: None. Abstain: Cushman, because she was absent.
<br />
<br />CONSENT AGENDA
<br />Maschka moved, Cushman seconded, that the Consent
<br />Agenda, Items B-1 and B-2, B-4 through B-6, B-8, B-10
<br />through B-12, B-14 and B-15 be approved. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Maschka, Cushman, Thomas, Johnson, and Rog.
<br />Nays: None.

<br />Maschka moved, Cushman seconded, that Bradley Hoff's
<br />request for a variance to locate a detached garage
<br />five feet from the front property line and three feet
<br />from the side property line at 1897 Shady Beach
<br />Avenue, to replace an existing garage and driveway, be
<br />approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Cushman, Thomas,
<br />Johnson, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Maschka moved, Cushman seconded, that Don Leedy's
<br />request for a twenty-five foot variance at 447 Rose
<br />Place, to allow a six foot high fence within five feet
<br />of the property line adjacent to Rose Place, be
<br />approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Cushman, Thomas,
<br />Johnson, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Maschka moved, Cushman seconded, that Ralph Wheaton's
<br />request for a shoreline permit at 393 S. Owasso
<br />Boulevard, to allow the removal of an existing
<br />dwelling and construction of a new dwelling, and ten
<br />foot variance to allow construction of a deck onto the
<br />rear of the house, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Maschka, Cushman, Thomas, Johnson, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Maschka moved, Cushman seconded, that Elsie Van Dyke's
<br />request for a one foot variance to a side yard set-
<br />back at 574 Shryer Avenue, in accordance with the
<br />City's policies concerning minor variances for drive-
<br />way setbacks, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka,
<br />Cushman, Thomas, Johnson, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Maschka moved, Cushman seconded, that the following
<br />items be referred to the September 5, 1990 Planning
<br />commission meeting and establishing City Council
<br />public hearings for September 24, 1990:
<br />
<br />1. James Gilbert/C. W. Halverson request for Special
<br />Use Permit for an amended PUD at 2075 Snelling
<br />Avenue.
