<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1007 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING CHAPTER 93 TO THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY <br />OF ROSEVILLE ALLOWING PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED PERSONS TO OPERATE <br />MOTORIZED GOLF CARTS OR ALL TERRAIN VEHICLES ON DESIGNATED ROAD- <br />WAYS WITHIN THE CITY. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby or- <br /> <br />dain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />The City Code of the City of Roseville is hereby amended by <br /> <br />adding Chapter 93 to read as follows: <br /> <br />93. Operation and Regulation of Motorized Golf <br />Carts and All Terrain Vehicles <br /> <br />93.010. Operation. Persons who are physically handi- <br />capped as defined in Minnesota Statute Section 169.345, <br />Subd. 2, are authorized to operate motorized golf carts <br />or all terrain vehicles on designated roadways or por- <br />tions thereof within the City. <br /> <br />93.020. Permit Required. No person shall operate a <br />motorized golf cart without obtaining a permit as pro- <br />vided herein. <br /> <br />93.030. Application for Permit. Every application for <br />a permit shall be made to the Chief of Police of the <br />City and shall contain the following information: <br /> <br />(1) The name, address, and age of the applicant. <br /> <br />(2) The nature of the applicant's physical handi- <br />cap. <br /> <br />(3) The roadways or portions thereon on which the <br />motorized golf cart or all terrain vehicle <br />will be operated. <br /> <br />(4) The time of operation of the motorized golf <br />cart or all terrain vehicle. <br /> <br />(5) Such other information as the Chief of Police <br />of the City may require. <br />
