CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDINANCE NO. 904 * * * * * * * * * * * AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 82 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE DEALING WITH ACTIVITIES IN PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF- WAY. The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby ordain: I. Section 82.060 (1) of the City Code of the City of Roseville is hereby amended to read as follows: (1) All construction work within the right-of-way of a street shall be performed by a licensed contractor who shall be responsible to assure that all relevant ordinance provisions and regulations are rigidly followed. The requirement that the work be done by a licensed contractor may be waived by the Public Works Director if the work is construction or repair of a driveway and the work is performed by the owner of the property and the owner executes a hold harmless agreement indemnifying the City against any claims for damages which might be made against the City arising out of the work performed by the property owner. II. Section 82.090 of the City Code of the City of Roseville is hereby amended to read as follows: 82.090. Standards for Driveways and Parking Lots. The following regulations shall apply to all driveways and aisles in parking lots: (1) The maximum width of any driveway shall be twenty-two (22) feet for properties zoned R-I and R-2, measured at the property line. In addition to the maximum width, at each side of the driveway where the driveway intersects the street, three (3) foot by three (3) foot flares are permitted. The maximum driveway width for all other types of properties shall be thirty (30) feet as measured at the property line. In addition to the maximum width, at each side of the driveway where it intersects the street, ten (IO) foot by ten (10) foot flares are permitted. (2) The minimum distance between curbs of driveways at the right-of-way line shall be ten (10) feet.
