<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />Wednesday, March 21 1988 <br /> <br />March 2 1988 regular meeting of the Roseville Planning <br />Commission was called to order by Chairperson Pat Johnson at 7:35 <br />P M. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Johnson, Berry, Stokes, Goedeke, Moeller <br />DeBenedet, Maschka <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> <br />Waldron, Dahlgren, Janisch, and Jopke <br /> <br />Council Present: <br /> <br />Kehr (liaison) r Cushman <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Goedeke moved, Moeller seconded that the minutes of the regular <br />meeting of the Roseville Planning Commission held Wednesday, <br />February 3, 1988 be approved. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Berry, Goedeke, Stokes, Moeller, Johnson <br />None <br /> <br />Plannin9 File 1823 <br /> <br />Target Stores request for variances to the building, screen <br />wall, and parking set back requirements at 1515 W. County Road B. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Dahlgren outlined the location of the 10 acre site and it's <br />history as the first Target Store in the nation. Dahlgren <br />summarized the proposal as being a 10,000 sq. ft. addition, <br />relocation of the stock room and delivery areas, stuccoing the <br />complete exterior, construction of a screen wall, and changes to <br />the parking area immediately south of the building. <br /> <br />Janisch indicated that staff had one drainage related problem in <br />the new truck dock area which could be worked out. <br /> <br />Dennis Anderson, architect for the project, pointed out that the <br />reason for the improvement is to expand the sales and stock room <br />area to alleviate existing problems. He also preceded to <br />discuss the color scheme. <br /> <br />Forrest Russell, landscape architect for the project, indicated <br />that there would be no changes in the parking lot other than <br />curbing on the south end and at the entrance from State Farm <br />road. <br /> <br />Stokes said that he had a problem with the traffic flow in the <br />area south of the building. Moeller asked the applicant to <br />discuss which trees would be removed on County Road B. Forrest <br />
