City of Roseville Planning Commission Minutes <br />Wednesday, June 8, 1994 <br />MINUTES <br />1.CALL TO ORDER. <br />Chairman Keith Wietecki called the June 8, 1994, regular Planning Commission meeting <br />to order at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers in City Hall. <br />2.ROLL CALL AND INTRODUCTIONS. <br />Members Present:Sandstrom, Rengel, Thomas, Wall, Wietecki, Harms, and Roberts. <br />Members Absent:None. <br />Council Present:Mastel and P. Johnson. <br />Staff Present:Jopke, Falk, Aune and Welsch. <br />3.APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES. <br />Member Roberts asked that on page 2 of the May 11 minutes, the motion be corrected to <br />state that Roberts and Harms abstained. Member Roberts also asked that the spelling of <br />"Musolf" be corrected on pages 10-12. <br />Motion: <br /> Member Roberts moved, seconded by Member Harms to approve the minutes of <br />the May 11, 1994, meeting with corrections as mentioned above. <br />Roll Call:Ayes:Sandstrom, Rengel, Thomas, Wall, Wietecki, Harms, <br />Roberts <br />Nayes:None <br />4.COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC. <br />Chairman Keith Wietecki asked for clarification from the Westby and Kehr decisions by <br />the City Council. Chairman Wietecki asked for comparison of the Westby and Parker <br />duplex cases. City Council member Pat Johnson stated that the differences were that the <br />Westby neighborhood was more diverse, there were some two-family houses in the area, <br />and the neighborhood now supported the issue. Chairman Wietecki stated that the <br />Commission attempts to follow the Comprehensive Guide Plan as city policy. Council <br />member Johnson stated that the policy is a guide and that the public is encouraged to be <br />vigilant and to active regarding changes to the plan and ordinances. Member Thomas <br />stated that the Commission has an obligation to represent the "quiet people". She <br />
