Planning File 3144: Northwestern College is requesting an amendment to PUD #1124 to allow construction of a four
(4) story office and radio building versus the previously identified three (3) story structure and encompassing 40,000
square feet versus the previously identified 27,000 square feet. The proposal also includes a two level parking deck on
property located in the southwest corner of Lydia Avenue and Snelling Avenue North.

Chair Klausing opened the public hearing for the project and requested Thomas Paschke to provide a verbal summary of
the project report dated September 8, 1999.

Thomas Paschke explained the location and size of the structure - a four story, 40,000 s.f. building instead of a three
story, 27,000 s.f. building. The parcel is zoned PUD and will use three parcels including the existing residence hall.
Adjacent uses to the site were described.

Thomas Paschke explained the design and proposed materials. The building would use the same setbacks established in
the original PUD.

Final plans and details of the development must be submitted prior to final approval. There is no health, safety or welfare
impact. Parking is adequate. Thomas Paschke explained the plans within the application.
