Call to Order <br /> <br />Chair Craig Klausing called the February 9, 2000 regular meeting of the City of Roseville Planning Commission to order at <br />6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the City Hall. <br /> <br />2. Roll Call and Introduction <br /> <br />Present: Chair Craig Klausing, Ed Cunningham, Doug Wilke, Peggy Egli, Janet Olson, James Mulder, John Rhody <br />(arrived 9:50 p.m.) <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />Staff present: Joel Jamnik, Deb Bloom, Thomas Paschke, Dennis Welsch <br /> <br />Council: Mayor Kysylyczyn, Barb Mastel <br /> <br />3. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Motion: Member Wilke moved, seconded by Member Cunningham, to approve the minutes of the January 12, 2000 <br />meeting of the Planning Commission, with the following amendments: page 6, line 33,37,500 s.t. instead of 12,325 s.t.; <br />page 6, line 22, R-4 should be R-3; page 9, line 9 and 16, name should be Sucoff. <br /> <br />Ayes: Klausing, Cunningham, Wilke, Egli, Mulder, Olson <br /> <br />Abstain: Rhody <br /> <br />Carried: 6-0-1 <br /> <br />4. Communications from the Public <br /> <br />Chair Klausing noted receipt of a letter from a Roseville resident (Garnet) supporting the Cub store at Har Mar Mall. <br /> <br />5. Consent Agenda <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />G. Public Hearings - Continued <br /> <br />Ga. Planning File 3178: A request by Midland Hills Country Club, 2001 Fulham Street, for a Conditional Use Permit <br />(CUP) to allow the construction of a 37,500 square foot clubhouse on the site of the existing 1959 Clubhouse. <br /> <br />Chair Klausing opened the hearing and requested City Planner Thomas Paschke to provide a verbal summary of club <br />house refinements to the plans since the meeting of January 12, 2000, including building, landscaping, grading plan. He <br />noted that a neighborhood meeting was held by the Country Club. <br /> <br />Thomas Paschke corrected setbacks from Midland Hills Road and dimensions of the building. He indicated the existing <br />structure to be set back 270 feet from the east property line; 285 feet from the west curb of Midland Hills Road; 330 feet <br />from the adjacent (east) residential property line; 415 feet from the adjacent (east) residential home; and 425 feet from the <br />adjacent (southeast) residential home. Further, Mr. Paschke indicated the existing drive-up lane to be set back 185 feet <br />from the east property line; 203 feet from the west curb of Midland Hills Road; 250 feet from the adjacent (east) residential <br />
