<br />City of Roseville - Variance Board Minutes for December 1, 2004Page 1 of 4 <br />C C <br />ITYOUNCIL <br />City of Roseville <br />Variance Board Meeting <br />Wednesday, December 1, 2004 <br />1.Call to Order <br />Chair Bakeman called the regular meeting of the City of Roseville Variance Board to order at 5:00 PM, in <br />the Roseville City Hall Council Chambers. <br />2.Roll Call <br />Present: Bakeman, Boerigter, Mulder, Doherty <br />Absent: None <br />Staff present: Thomas Paschke, Dennis Welsch <br />3.Approval of Minutes <br />Motion by Member Mulder, seconded by Member Doherty, to approve the minutes of November 3, <br />2004 as submitted. <br />Ayes: 3 (Member Boerigter entered the meeting after this vote, alternate Doherty was present) <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried: 3-0 <br />4.Communications from the Public <br />None <br />5.Public Hearings <br />a.Planning File 3615: Request by William Bjornnes, 3081 Evelyn Street, for a 468 sq. ft. <br />Variance to Section 1004.01A5 of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction of a 680 <br />sq. ft. house addition. <br />Chair Bakeman opened the hearing and requested City Planner Thomas Paschke provide a verbal <br />summary of the project report dated December 1, 2004. <br />Thomas Paschke advised William Bjornnes is seeking approval of a 470 sq. ft. Variance to Section <br />1004.01A6 of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction of a 17 foot by 40 foot (680 sq. ft.) <br />addition on to the rear of the principal structure (home). The total impervious coverage being sought <br />is an increase of 5% from an allowable 2,912 sq. ft. to 3,380 sq. ft. (34.8%). He further informed the <br />Board that the original structure (house) was built in 1977 and lies on a rectangular parcel that is 90 <br />feet wide and 108 feet deep or 9,706 square feet and that the lot is considered a legal non- <br />conforming lot because it was platted prior to the current dimensional requirements for residential <br />http://www.ci.roseville.mn.us/council/variance/minutes/2004/vb1201.htm5/1/2006 <br /> <br />
