<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF <br />ROSEVILLE. MINNESOTA.. HELD APRIL 18 , 1966. <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Village Hall <br />in said Village on April 18 , 1966 at 7:30 p.m. The <br />following members were present: Hayor Cedarho1rn, Trustees Curley, <br />Goodrich, Grauel and Shields <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Shields introduced the following <br />Resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO.. 1511 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Roseville and William <br />A. Elling and Doryce K. Elling in 1964 entered into <br />negotiations for the purchase of certain land from the <br />Ellings to the Village for road purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, certain negotiations culminated in <br />the Ellings presenting a Deed to the Village of Roseville, <br />dated October 13, 1964, and filed for record October 16, <br />1964, in Book 1932, Ramsey County Records, on page 139, <br />Document No. 16318112; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said land conveyed by the Ellings to <br />the Village contained considerable nursery stock owned <br />by the Ellings; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a road was constructed on said real <br />property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it was claimed by the Ellings that <br />considerable nursery stock was damaged in excess of the <br />nursery stock upon the land conveyed to the Village of <br />Roseville; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is claimed by the Ellings that the <br />value of said nursery stock damaged and destroyed by <br />the Village in addition to that given by the above Deed <br />is in excess of $2,000.00; and <br />
