<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD SEPTEMBER 19, 1966 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a <br />regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of <br />Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Village <br />Hall in said Village on September 19 ,1966 at 7:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br /> <br />Mayor Cedarho1m, Trustees Curley, Goodrich, Grauel and <br />Shields <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Curley introduced the following <br />Resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1619 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION TO ACQUIRE LOT SEVEN (7), BLOCK <br />NINE (9), JAMES THIRD ADDITION, TAX FORFEITED LAND, FOR THE <br />DRAINAGE AND STORAGE OF STORM WATER. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Village is the owner of Lot Six <br />(6), Block Nine (9), James Third Addition, commonly referred <br />to as Alameda Pond, which is used as an integral part of <br />the municipal storm water system for the storage, flowage and <br />drainage of storm water as a part of the municipal storm <br />water system, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lot Seven (7), Block Nine (9), James <br />Third Addition is directly to the South of Lot Six (6), <br />(Alameda Pond) and is also suitable for the drainage and <br />ponding of storm water, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has stated that <br />it is necessary and desirable to obtain Lot Seven (7) as an <br />adjunct to Alameda Pond, to be used as an integral part of <br />the Village's municipal storm water system, and <br />
