<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD SEPTEMBER 18, 1967. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of <br />the Village Council of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and <br />held at the Village Hall in said Village on September 18, 1967, at <br />7:30 p.m. The following members were present: <br /> <br />Hayor Cedarholm, Councilmen Shields, Curley and Grauel <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: Counei lman Goodrich <br /> <br />Member Grauel introduced the following <br />Resolution and moved its adoption <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1901 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY EMINENT DOMAIN <br />THE PERMANENT EASEMENT ACROSS AND UNDER CERTAIN LAND FOR <br />THE PURPOSES OF CONSTRUCTING, MAINTAINING AND OPERATING <br />UNDERGROUND WATER MAINS, PIPES, AND APPURTENANCES FOR THE <br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AND THAT THE NECESSARY PRO- <br />CEEDINGS BE COMPLETED FOR SAID PURPOSE, AS A PART OF IMPROVE- <br />MENT 66-26: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Village Council of the Village of Roseville has <br />been advised by competent engineers that it is fea sible to construct <br />underground water mains, pipes and appurtenances for the purpose <br />of enlarging the Municipal water system within that portion of said <br />Village as a part of improvement 66-26 for the Village of Roseville; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Village Council deems it necessary and expedient <br />and in the best interest of the Village and its inhabitants that the Village <br />acquire pennanent easement across and under certain land for the above <br />purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the statutes of the State of Minnesota state that the <br />Village has the power and authority to take and acquire said property by <br />condemnation under the power of eminent domain; <br />
