EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 12th day of April, 2010, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Ihlan; Johnson; Roe; Pust; and Klausing; and the following were absent: none. Member Pust introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. 10802 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ABATEMENT OF CODE VIOLATIONS AT 2433 SIMPSON STREET WHEREAS, the City Council has received a report from Community Development Director Pat Trudgeon and Codes Coordinator Don Munson, regarding the property located at 2433 Simpson Street in Roseville, MN, being a public nuisance and in violation of Roseville's City Code, it's Building Maintenance and Preservation Code, Minnesota Statutes, and the Minnesota State Building Code; and WHEREAS, the City Council has found the property to be without required siding materials, an approved electrical service or an approved chimney which are all violations of Roseville's City Code and it's Building Maintenance and Preservation Code, Minnesota Statutes, and the Minnesota State Building Code; and WHEREAS, the City has advised the owners of the property that said property is in violation of Roseville's City Code, it's Building Maintenance and Preservation Code, and the Minnesota State Building Code, but the owners have not brought the property into compliance; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 407.05 and 407.06 of Roseville's City Code the City is authorized to institute any proper action or proceedings in the name of the City to prevent such City Code, Building Maintenance and Preservation Code, Minnesota Statue and Minnesota State Building Code violations from continuing;
