EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />VARIANCE BOARD OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 4th day of May, 2005, at 5:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Chair Bakeman and Members Pust, Doherty, and <br />Boerigter <br />Variance Board Member Boerigter introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />VB RESOLUTION N0.15 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCES TO SECTION 1005 OF THE OF THE <br />ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR DANIEL SMITH AND DAIRY QUEEN, <br />3070 LEXINGTON AVENUE (PF3639) <br />WHEREAS, Daniel Smith has requested a VARIANCE to Section 1005.01 (Business <br />District Dimensional Requirements) of the Roseville City Code to allow the relocation of an <br />existing pylon sign on the premises; and <br />WHEREAS, these property is addressed as 3070 Lexington Avenue, and legally <br />described as: <br />SEE EXHIBIT "A" <br />PIN 03-29-23-22-0001 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1005.01 (Business District Dimensional Requirements requires <br />structures to be set back a minimum of 30 feet from a front yard property line; and <br />WHEREAS, a pylon sign is determined to be a structure that requires a 30 foot setback <br />form a front property line; and <br />WHEREAS, Daniel Smith seeks to relocate his existing pylon sign from approximately <br />30 feet from the front yard property line to a distance of 1 foot; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Planner has concluded that "hardships" are present and support can <br />be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to <br />approve a 29 foot VARIANCE_to Section 1005.01 (Business District -Minimal Dimensional <br />Requirements -Front Yard Setback) allowing the relocation of an existing pylon sign on the <br />premises, subject to the following conditions: <br />
