EXTRACT OF INgJTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />VARIANCE BOA OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 3rd day of August, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Chair Bakeman and Members Traynor and <br />Doherty. <br />Variance Board Member Doherty introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />VB RESOLUTION N0.21 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A REQUEST BY <br />JAMES SEABLOOM, 2216 DRAPER FOR A VARIANCE <br />TO SECTION 1004.016 (RESIDENTIAL DWELLING DIMENSIONS <br />-CORNER SIDE YA SETBACK) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE (PF3651). <br />WHEREAS, James Seabloom has requested approval of a 17 foot VARIANCE to <br />Section 1004.016 of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction of a new two stall <br />detached accessory structure (garage) on his premises located at 2216 Draper, and <br />EREAS, the Seabloom property is located at 2216 Draper Avenue, and legally <br />described as: <br />LOT 1, BLK 3, ROSEDALE ADDITION <br />PIN: 17-29-23-13-0040 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.016 (Residential Dwelling Dimensions -Corner Side Yard <br />Setback) of the Roseville City Code requires all structures to be set back a minimum of 30 feet <br />from a corner side yard adjacent to a public street; and <br />WHEREAS, the Seabloom parcel proposes a setback of 13 feet for a detached garage, <br />creating the need fora 17 foot variance, and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed garage requires a VARIANCE of 17 feet in accordance with <br />Section 1013 of the Roseville City Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Planner has concluded that "hardships" are present and support can <br />be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to approve <br />a 17 foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.016 of the Roseville City Code for James Seabloom to <br />allow the construction of a detached accessory building within 13 feet of the corner side property <br />line at 2216 Draper Avenue, subject to the following condition: <br />
