EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF TIDE <br />VARIANCE BOA OF TFIE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 6th day of July, 2005, at 5:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Chair Bakeman and Members Pust, Doherty, and <br />Boerigter <br />Variance Board Member Boerigter introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />V RESOLUTION NO. 18 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 25 FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.016 <br />(RESIDENTIAL DWELLING DIMENSIONS -CORNER SIDE YARD SETBACK <br />OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR WILLIAM DAHLKE, <br />1244 SANDHURST DRIVE (PF3646) <br />WHEREAS, William Dahlke has requested a VARIANCE to Section 1004 of the <br />Roseville City Code to allow construction of a detached accessory structure in the required <br />corner side yard setback; and <br />WHEREAS, this property is addressed as 1244 Sandhurst Drive and legally described as: <br />Lot 4, Block 3, I)ellwood Heights <br />PI1~110-29-23-43-0030 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.016 (Residential Dwelling Dimension -Corner Side Yard <br />Setback) requires a structure on a corner side yard adjacent a public street to be set back a <br />minimum of 30 feet from the property line; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposal by Mr. Dahlke seeks to construct the detached accessory <br />structure 5 feet from the property line adjacent Merrill Street at the same distance as the existing <br />principal structure; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Planner has concluded that "hardships" are present and support can <br />be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to <br />approve a 25 foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.016 (Residential Dwelling Dimensions -Corner <br />Side Yard Setback) allowing the construction of a detached accessory structure, subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />1. The applicant locating the parcel's property pins and developing a scaled site plan <br />with dimensions for existing and proposed detached accessory structure to be <br />submitted with the building permit application. <br />
