ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—January 10, 2011 10 7.A. Amend Sections 1305.04 and 1320 in the Zoning Code (continued) Mayor Grant stated this item is not related to the discussion at this time and recommended this item be added to a future Council work session for discussion. MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a motion to Approve Ordinance 20.11-002 in Planning,Case 10-011 Amendinsl Sections 1305.04 and 1320 of the City's Zoning Code in the January 10, 2011, p City , p_ summary of Ordinance 2011-002 Report to the Ci Council and to ublish a summa o_ with the following amendments: Section 1305.04 Definitions Subd. 168. Schools, specialized education.; Section 1320.14, Subd. 3, Add C. The applicant is encouraged to have community meetings as needed (optional) and renumber the remaining items in this section. Councilmember Holmes thanked City Planner Beekman for her work on the Ordinance changes. The motion was called to a vote. - The motion carried unanimously (4-0). B. Approve Resolution 2011-002 Relating to Appointments to the Commissions and Committees of the City Mayor Grant stated the cover letter states the Resolution only lists new appointees and reappointments of existing members. He stated that Section 5 of the Resolution lists committee members that are not seeking reappointment and this should be removed from the resolution. Councilmember Holden thanked Dorothy McClung for her service on the Communications Committee, Mayor Grant thanked all the members of the Committees and Commissions in the City of Arden Hills. MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Werner seconded a motion to Approve Resolution 2011-002 Relating to the Appointments to Commissions and Committees of the City as amended by striking Section 5. Councilmember Holmes requested the addresses and references not be deleted from the application forms when they are presented to the Council for approval. Director of Finance and Administrative Services Sue Iverson stated this information could not be provided to the Council prior to approval for privacy issues. Councilmember Holden requested in the future that the area the applicant is from be referenced on the application.
