ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—January 10, 2011 11 <br /> 7.B. Approve Resolution 2011-002 Relating to Appointments to the Commissions and <br /> Committees of the City (continued) <br /> Director of Finance and Administrative Services Iverson stated this could be done in the <br /> future. <br /> The motion was called to a vote. <br /> The motion carried unanimously <br /> C. Adoption of the 2011 Organizational Resolution for the City of Arden Hills <br /> Mayor Grant stated Resolution 2011-001 was an administrative duty of the City. This resolution <br /> lists such information as the official newspaper, the City Attorney, and the City's official _ <br /> depository. He also stated the designated Mayor Pro-Tem will be Councilmember Fran Holmes. <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holmes moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a <br /> motion to Adopt Resolution 2011-001; A Resolution Relating to the <br /> Organization of the City of Arden Hills with Councilmember Fran Holmes as <br /> Mayor Pro-Tem. The motion carried unanimously (4-0). T <br /> D. Discussion Regarding the Council Retreat <br /> Councilmember Holden asked what the City's plans were regarding the Council Retreat. <br /> City Administrator Klaers stated he had talked to Mr. Bill Joynes about possible dates for the <br /> goal setting retreat. He also stated a proposal had previously been sent to the Council for review <br /> regarding the services that Mr. Joynes would be able to provide. Saturday, February 12, in the <br /> morning was a date and time that may work for everyone. He explained that Mr. Joynes will be <br /> doing interviews prior to the retreat date and there would be a follow-up Council Work Session <br /> after the retreat. <br /> Mayor Grant stated February 12 would work with his schedule. <br /> Councilmember Holden stated February 12 would work with her schedule. <br /> Councilmember Holmes stated the morning of February 12 would work for her but she does <br /> have a commitment later in the day. <br /> Councilmember Werner stated February 12 would work with his schedule. <br /> City Administrator Klaers stated he would talk to Staff and arrange the date. He also stated the <br /> retreat would take place in the Community Room at City Hall. <br /> S. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> A. Mn/DOT I-6941TH 51 Improvement Project—Appeal Board Appointee <br />
