ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—April 25, 2011 10 <br /> 6.A. 2011 PMP Special Assessment Hearing, Resolution 2011-021 and Resolution 2011-022 <br /> (continued) - <br /> Councilmember Holden stated the extension is being considered due to the poor economy at this <br /> time. This will give residents more time to budget for the assessment and potentially not pay <br /> additional interest. <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Tamble seconded a <br /> motion to Amend Resolution 2011-021 Para rah 4 the First Sentence to <br /> Read: "The owner of any property so assessed may, at any, time prior to <br /> certification of the assessment to the county auditor, a the whole of the <br /> assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the date of„payment, to <br /> the City Administrator, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire <br /> assessment is paid on or before July 26 2011." The motion carried <br /> unanimous) 5-0 . - <br /> The amended motion to Approve Resolution 2011-21 was called to a vote. <br /> The motion carried unanimously (5-0). - <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a - <br /> motion to Adopt Resolution_2011-022: Awarding the Bid for the 2011 <br /> Pavement Management Program to Asphalt Surface Technologies <br /> Corporation of St. CIoud Minnesota in an Amount of$1 056 476.80. <br /> Councilmember Holden asked if residents would know who to contact at the City if they have <br /> concerns about the project. <br /> Public Works Director Maurer stated information will be going out in the PMP newsletter and <br /> there will be several contacts for residents. <br /> Councilmember Holden stated the project will only be doing the City streets at the townhomes. <br /> She asked how this would blend with the roads from the townhouses. <br /> Public Works Director Maurer stated the project would only do the City streets and the <br /> connections to the townhouse roads will be repaired if impacted by the project. <br /> The motion was called to a vote. <br /> The motion carried unanimous) 5-0 . <br /> 7.
