Ramsey County-Wide Emergency Operations Plan Revision 5.1,June,2005 <br /> does require activation of senior county management, the EMHS <br /> director acts as principal aide and advisor to the county Incident <br /> Manager during the emergency. <br /> • Maintain the Ramsey County Emergency Operations Center <br /> (RCEOC) in conjunction with other departments <br /> • Coordinate the establishment and provision of disaster recovery <br /> services to the public <br /> • Collect and disseminate emergency information to the <br /> concerned jurisdictions and agencies; <br /> • Coordinate the utilization of county, other local; government, <br /> state and federal resources within the county <br /> • Coordinate operations conducted by the local governments <br /> within the county in accordance with approved mutual aid plans; <br /> • Recommend or forward requests to requisition personnel and/or <br /> property as necessary for the conduct of emergency or recovery <br /> operations to the county Incident Manager <br /> • Coordinate and provide for dissemination of public information <br /> relating to emergency activities as may be required; <br /> During the Consequence Management Phase <br /> EMHS will work to coordinate the county's disaster claims process in <br /> concert with the County Manager. EMHS will work with affected <br /> municipalities, county departments, etc. to prepare and process <br /> emergency operations program papers and applications for federal and <br /> state funds. <br /> As relief and recovery funds are made available, EMHS will assist in <br /> ensuring that they are disbursed to affected areas a rapidly as <br /> possible. <br /> 114 <br />
