City of Arden Hills Personnel Policy Effective August 26, 2003 <br /> <br />Summer Hours <br />The City Council may annually approve summer hours of operation, which will typically <br />begin on Monday of the first full week in June each year and end Friday, the last full week in <br />August of each year. <br /> <br />HOLIDAYS <br /> <br />All full-time employees are eligible for the following holidays: <br /> <br /> New Year's Day January 1st <br /> Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Third Monday in January <br /> President's Day Third Monday in February <br /> Memorial Day Last Monday in May <br /> Independence Day July 4th <br /> Labor Day First Monday in September <br /> Veterans Day November 11th <br /> Thanksgiving Fourth Thursday in November <br /> Day after Thanksgiving Fourth Friday in November <br /> Christmas Eve December 24th <br />th <br /> Christmas December 25 <br /> December 31st <br /> <br />Employees will receive full pay for eight (8) hours for each holi <br />employee is on compensated payroll status the last assigned work <br />and the first assigned work day following the holiday. Employees required to work on a <br />designated holiday shall be compensated two (2) times their base hourly pay rate for each <br />hour worked. Regular or part-time employees who work an average of 20 hours a week or <br />more will be eligible for pro-rated holiday pay.
