City of Arden Hills Personnel Policy Effective August 26, 2003 <br /> <br />MILITARY LEAVE <br /> <br />Military leave will be granted to eligible employees in accordan <br />Section 192.26. An employee who is a member of the national guard, or any other <br />component of the militia of the state, or who is a member of the <br />enlisted reserve corps, the naval reserve, the marine corps rese <br />the military or naval forces of the United States, is entitled to leave of absence without <br />demotion or loss of pay, seniority status, efficiency rating, Personal Time Off, or other <br />benefits for the time which such employee is engaged in training <br />exceeding a total of fifteen (15) days in any calendar year. <br /> <br />The military leave of absence is allowed only if the employee re <br />immediately upon being relieved from military or naval service, <br />returning by physical or mental disability or other cause not the fault of the employee, or is <br />required by the proper authority to continue in military or nava-day <br />period allowed for the military leave of absence. <br /> <br />Notice of intent to take military leave must be given to the empyee's department manager at <br />least five working days after receipt of orders by the employee <br />prior to the date of leave. If orders are received at a time, which would make compliance wi <br />this provision impossible, the employee shall give notice as soon as possible. <br /> <br /> <br /> 28 <br />
