and the Officers of the Dispatch Policy Committee shall serve as of the CAD Policy Committee. 4.1.3The CAD Policy Committee Officers shall have the duties, powers responsibilities set forth in this Agreement. 4.1.4Officers 4.1.4.1The duties of the Chair shall be as follows: 4.1.4.1.1approve the agenda for Committee meetings, with the input and assistance of the Director and other Committee members; 4.1.4.1.2preside at Committee meetings; 4.1.4.1.3sign all official documents as authorized by the Committee; 4.1.4.1.4make reports, directly or through a designee, to the Committee and the Ramsey County Board as required or deemed appropriate; and 4.1.4.1.5perform such other duties as are incident to the office and properly expected by the Committee. 4.1.4.2The duties of the Vice Chair shall be as follows: 4.1.4.2.1in the absence of the Chair, to perform the duties of the Chair; and 4.1.4.2.2to perform such duties as may be requested by the Chair. 4.1.4.3The Director shall serve as executive secretary to the Committee and shall provide all correspondence, reporting, and recordkeeping functions for the Committee, consistent with Minnesota Statutes Chapter 13 and statutory retention laws. 4.1.5Powers and Authority of the CAD Policy Committee 4.1.5.1The Committee shall assist the County in reviewing and evaluatin the performance of the System to ensure that the service meets the needs and expectations of the Members and System Users. 4.1.5.2The Committee shall make recommendations to the County Manager, the Director and the System Manager concerning the facilitation of public safety services through use of the System 4.1.5.3The Committee shall periodically review operations and make recommendations to the Director on the operations, standards, and budget for the System. 4.1.5.4The Committee shall serve as an appeals body as provided in this Agreement.
