the plan. The City’s Tree Preservation Ordinance states that unapproved tree loss is required to <br />be replaced at a rate of two caliper inches for every one caliper inch removed. This would <br />increase the number of required replacement trees to 1,894 caliper inches. <br /> <br />To date, Presbyterian Homes has planted 1,800 caliper inches of trees, leaving a current deficit of <br />94 caliper inches. The Tree Preservation Plan has been updated to reflect the removal of one <br />additional significant tree during Phase II that will require a replacement amount of 7.5 caliper <br />inches. This brings the total required tree plantings for Phase II to 101.5 caliper inches. The <br />Landscape Plan shows 140 caliper inches of trees to be planted on the Brownstone Buildings <br />site.
