<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />SPECIAL WORK SESSION <br />WEDNESDAY, JUNE 17, 2015 <br />ARDEN HILLS CITY HALL <br /> <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Chair Roberta Thompson called to order the <br />special work session meeting at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Present were: Chair Roberta Thompson, Commissioners Brent Bartel, Andrew Holewa, <br />Steven Jones, and Phillip Neururer. <br /> <br />Absent: Commissioners Angela Hames and Clayton Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Also present were: Community Development Director Jill Hutmacher; City Planner Ryan <br />Streff; Associate Planner Matthew Bachler; and Councilmember Robert Woodburn. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA – JUNE 17, 2015 <br /> <br /> The Agenda was approved as presented. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> <br />A. TCAAP Redevelopment Code and Comprehensive Plan Amendment Discussion <br /> <br />Community Development Director Hutmacher stated that the City Council preliminarily <br />approved the TCAAP Redevelopment Code (TRC) on May 26, 2015, and authorized staff to <br />move forward with work on the Comprehensive Plan Amendment (CPA). On June 3, 2015, the <br />Planning Commission discussed the process, timeline, and requirements for the CPA. Since that <br />time, City staff and consultants have prepared specific amendments to the Comprehensive Plan, <br />and the City Council has reviewed amendments at work sessions on June 8 and 15, 2015. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Hutmacher provided the Commission with a presentation <br />with information on the planning process, feedback from public comments and participation, key <br />elements of the TRC, and amendments to the Comprehensive Plan. She reported that the Public <br />Hearing on the TRC and CPA is scheduled for the Wednesday, July 8, 2015, Planning <br />Commission meeting.
