ARDEN HILLS PLANNING COMMISSION SPECIAL WORK SESSION – June 17, 2015 3 <br /> <br /> <br />Commissioner Holewa feared that the Town Center neighborhood did not have enough parks <br />for the proposed density. He asked if a fence would be erected between the Rice Creek wildlife <br />corridor and TCAAP. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Hutmacher anticipated that the County would create trail <br />connections at certain intervals to the Rice Creek wildlife corridor. She discussed the importance <br />of public open space within TCAAP. She did not believe that the County planned to put a fence <br />along the length of the wildlife corridor. <br /> <br />Commissioner Holewa requested that the introduction to the TRC include language from the <br />energy resiliency framework. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Hutmacher discussed the amendments and language <br />changes staff had made to the TRC with regard to recommendations made by the ERAB. <br /> <br />Commissioner Jones suggested that staff investigate the potential for public transportation to <br />TCAAP and the remainder of Arden Hills. <br /> <br />Commissioner Bartel thanked staff for their presentation and for all of their efforts. <br /> <br />Chair Thompson discussed how the Public Hearing would be handled on July 8th noting the <br />meeting would begin with a presentation from staff. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />Commissioner Holewa moved, seconded by Commissioner Jones, to adjourn the <br />June 17, 2015, Planning Commission Special Work Session Meeting at 7:58 p.m. <br />The motion carried unanimously (7-0).
