Motion to Approve 2015 Pavement Management Program (PMP) Pay Estimate 3 <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember McClung moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a <br />motion to approve the Consent Calendar as presented and to authorize <br />execution of all necessary documents contained therein. The motion carried <br />unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />6. PULLED CONSENT ITEMS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />7. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />A. Rice Creek Commons (TCAAP) Development Discussion Opportunity for <br />Residents <br /> <br />Mayor Grant stated that under the Public Hearing section, citizens have an opportunity to discuss <br />ideas regarding the Rice Creek Commons (TCAAP) development. <br /> <br />Mayor Grant opened the public hearing at 7:14 p.m. <br /> <br />With no one coming forward to speak, Mayor Grant closed the public hearing at 7:15 p.m. <br /> <br />B. County Road H/I-35W Interchange – Municipal Consent <br /> <br />Public Works Director Maurer stated that Ramsey County is seeking municipal consent for the <br />County Road H/I-35W interchange. He introduced Beth Engum, Ramsey County, and stated that <br />she had a presentation regarding the project. <br /> <br />Beth Engum, Ramsey County, provided comment on the goals, objectives and proposed <br />improvements for the County Road H interchange. She reported that pedestrian connections <br />would be improved through this project and that the creek would be realigned. She reviewed the <br />cost participation for the project and noted that the City’s costs would be approximately $200,000. <br />Any additional amenities or bridge aesthetics would cost extra. The project timeline was <br />discussed at length and it was noted that construction should begin in March of 2016. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden requested clarification on the pink lines within the proposed <br />improvements plans. <br />
