City of Arden Hills Personnel Policy Effective February 29,2016 <br />EMPLOYEE RECORDS <br />Employee records are maintained in the Director of Administrative Services' Office. Laws <br />regarding data privacy, as adopted in the Data Practices Policy found in the Addendum, <br />are strictly followed. <br />It is important that your permanent personnel records are kept accurate and up-to-date. <br />You must immediately notify the City Clerk or the Director of Administrative Services <br />when there is a change in any of the following: <br />Name (through marriage or otherwise) <br />Address <br />Marital status <br />Beneficiaries for life insurance and retirement <br />Telephone number <br />Person to contact in case of an emergency <br />This data is private and is not revealed without your permission. <br />NEWS RELEASES <br />Formal news releases concerning municipal affairs are the responsibility of the CityP <br />Administrator. All media interviews must be approved by the City Administrator before <br />the interview. All contacts with the media should be reported to the City Administrator as <br />soon as practicable. <br />No City employee is authorized to speak on behalf of the City without prior authorization <br />from the City Administrator or his/her designee. <br />All news releases concerning City personnel will be the responsibility of the City <br />Administrator. <br />For more information, see General Guidelines for all Communications (Official and <br />Person). <br />8
