The new playstructure is budgeted <br />out of the General Fund $23,000. The estimated cost if $25,450 for hard court improvements, and <br />$5,000 to fix the existing fence. <br />JUSTIFICATION <br />The fencing around the ballfield can be re -used, but needs fixing. The tennis court is in extremely <br />poor condition and unusable. The residents of the mobile home park would use a full-size basketball <br />court more than a tennis court. Moving the play structure location ensures a dryer surface area. <br />CURRENT STATUS/PROJECTED SCHEDULE <br />• In poor condition now, some parts are unusable. <br />• Would like to do all improvements in same year. <br />• Depends to some extent on when drainage is improved. <br />RELATIONSHIP TO EXISTING PLANS AND OTHER PROGRAMS <br />A play structure replacement is planned for the park in 1999.
