<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Approved: April 25, 2016 <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MARCH 14, 2016 <br />7:00 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor David Grant called to order the regular City <br />Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor David Grant, Councilmembers Brenda Holden, Fran Holmes, and <br />Dave McClung <br /> <br /> Absent: Councilmember Jonathan Wicklund (excused) <br /> <br /> Also present: Interim City Administrator Sue Iverson; Community Development Director <br />Jill Hutmacher; Acting Public Works Director John Anderson; and City Clerk Amy Dietl <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a <br />motion to approve the meeting agenda as amended. The motion carried <br />unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />2. PUBLIC INQUIRIES/INFORMATIONAL <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />3. PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS <br /> <br />A. Northeast Youth and Family Services (NYFS) Report to the Council <br /> <br />Jerry Hromatka, Northeast Youth and Family Services (NYFS), thanked the Council for their <br />time. He updated the Council on the events taking place at NYFS noting that his organization’s <br />main goal is to help 5 to 21 year olds find out what is important in order to induce change. He <br />indicated that 4,000 youth and families are helped by NYFS each year. He provided a summary <br />on NYFS’s three major program areas which are mental health, youth development and day <br />treatment. He explained that there is a growing need for youth mental health services throughout
