Project Personnel / 17 <br />A Proposal to Provide a 2040 Comprehensive Plan Update for the City of Arden Hills <br />Bill Alms, PE <br />Surface Water Engineer <br />Bill Alms is a Project Engineer in WSB & Associates Water Resources Group. He has five years of <br />experience in in the field of water resources engineering. Bill’s experience includes planning, design, <br />and construction management for a number of regional BMP projects, including passive treatment <br />technologies, chemical treatment systems, and stormwater reuse applications. He is also involved <br />with research and inspection of residential and municipal storm water sites, hydrologic, hydraulic, <br />and water quality modeling, watershed permitting submittals, and development plan reviews. <br />Jason L. Amberg, RLA, ASLA <br />Landscape Architect <br />Jason is a principal of the firm and leads WSB’s Landscape Architecture group. He has extensive <br />experience with a variety of project types, including parks and trails, campgrounds, waterfronts, <br />urban design, and other natural resource based projects. In his 20+ year career, Jason has <br />established himself as a leader in all aspects of the park and trail planning and design process <br />from inception of project statements to development review after projects are implemented. He has <br />conducted presentations on park and trail planning and design topics at professional conferences <br />such as the Minnesota Recreation and Parks Association, the Minnesota America Planning <br />Association, and as a guest speaker at Concordia University. <br />Jim Gromberg <br />Economic Development Specialist <br />Jim has over 25 years of experience in economic development, including both redevelopment <br />projects and greenfield developments. Most recently, Jim was the State of Minnesota’s Business <br />Development Representative for the Twin Cities metro area, focusing on the attraction of new <br />businesses to the state and assisting businesses in expanding their current locations. Jim has also <br />served as the Vice President for Business Banking for Landmark Bank focusing primarily on SBA <br />lending, the Business and Community Relations Manager for Connexus Energy, City Manager for <br />Isanti, and Economic Development Coordinator for the City of Ramsey. Jim has also served as the <br />President of the Economic Development Association of Minnesota, President of the Anoka Area <br />Chamber of Commerce, President of the Anoka-Ramsey Community College Foundation, and Mid- <br />America Economic Development Council Board of Directors. Jim also holds the Certified Economic <br />Development Financial Professional designation.
