Relative Experience / References / 19
A Proposal to Provide a 2040 Comprehensive Plan Update for the City of Arden Hills
City of Roseville
WSB was hired by the City of Roseville to develop the 2040
Comprehensive Plan. Roseville is a nearly built-out first ring
suburb located adjacent to both Minneapolis and St. Paul,
with a 2014 population of 35,319. The focus of the upcoming
Comprehensive Plan in Roseville is redevelopment, economic
development, and to provide a wide spectrum of life cycle housing
opportunities. WSB has been hired to complete the Land Use,
Housing, Parks, Resilience and Implementation, and to work with
City staff on the required infrastructure elements. In addition,
WSB will be completing an Economic Development Strategic
Plan, which has been identified as a priority to position the City
for sustainable future growth. The most important component
is a robust community engagement plan, to engage as many
people as often as possible throughout the process. Innovative
strategies under development for Roseville include a dedicated
project website, pop-up engagement to reach people during
existing community meetings and events, work through the Early
Childhood and Family Education Program, and specific outreach
to typically underrepresented communities through the City’s
Human Rights Commission.
Municipal Clients
Relative Experience /
References
Jesse Freihammer
City Engineer/Assistant Public Works
Director
2660 Civic Center Drive
Roseville, MN 55113
Phone: (651) 792-7042
Email: jesse.freihammer@cityofroseville.com
Roseville, MN
