Municipal Experience & References / 6 <br />Professional GIS Services: East Bethel, MN <br />Colleen Winter, Community Development Director (763) 367-7855 <br />The City of East Bethel chose WSB to provide professional GIS services including an implementation of WSB’s <br />DataLink web mapping application. WSB performed a comprehensive needs analysis and a review of the City’s <br />existing GIS system. WSB re-designed the City’s GIS data model to fully support Esri’s Local Government <br />Information Model (LGIM) to maintain compatibility with Esri-based solutions. In addition, WSB integrated the <br />City’s permitting system, septic database, and Citizen Request Management system with the City’s GIS data. <br />This allows staff to simply search for addresses or property owners in one application to both visualize and <br />access the data. <br />WSB currently hosts and manages the City’s GIS data and web-mapping application, DataLink. DataLink <br />provides the City a secured GIS portal with data aggregated form a number of departments across the <br />organization. All data layers are easily identifi able by differeing icons based on use, subject matter and industry <br />standards. DataLink is the go-to mapping application used by all staff regardless of their GIS experience. <br />A Proposal to Provide GIS Services to the City of Arden Hills
