Staffi ng Plan / 13 <br />Michael Phillippi <br />GIS Support <br />Michael who started as an intern at WSB while in school has been hired fulltime at WSB almost <br />two years. His education and research makes him a valued addition to WSB’s Geographic <br />Information Services Group, helping to expand an already recognized Information Systems <br />Group. Michael has the willingness and attitude to learn and take on any tasks that might <br />be asked. Michael is profi cient in ArcGIS Software, ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS <br />Online. Under the ArcGIS Platform, Michael is also profi cient in Spatial Analysis, Mapping <br />and Visualization, Imagery, and Remote Sensing. Michaels experience is growing each and <br />everyday while working with WSBs internal groups while helping on various kinds of projects. <br />In many of these projects Michael has been the lead GIS Support role. Michaels other GIS <br />Support role include working with other cities, creating GIS base maps, creating and updating <br />geodatabases, creating datasets, updating and creating cities utility data. Michael also is <br />suffi cient in converting AutoCAD data into GIS. <br />Vikrant Krishna <br />Lead Developer <br />Vikrant is the lead developer responsible for developing web and mobile GIS applications at <br />WSB. Vikrant has a Master’s Degree in Geographic Information Science from the University <br />of Minnesota and six years of professional GIS experience. He was the lead architect behind <br />the DataLink® platform that will be used for this project. Vikrant’s primary focus is web GIS <br />application development using the ArcGIS JavaScript API along with various other web <br />development frameworks. Vikrant has extensive experience with number of programming <br />languages, such as JavaScript, PHP, ASP.Net, Java, Python and Objective-C. As WSB’s lead <br />developer, Vikrant provides the technical direction, develops the underlying architecture, and <br />handles code development for the majority of the applications developed at WSB. Vikrant has <br />successfully developed and deployed a number of mapping applications in diverse enterprise <br />environments including MnDOT, Hennepin County, as well as various private organizations. <br />His work consistently delivers a high-quality user interface, data editing capabilities, and <br />comprehensive application security. In addition, Vikrant has broad experience developing <br />mobile application for iOS and Android systems. <br />Vikrant’s role on this project will be to provide technical expertise as needed on the overall <br />performance and extendibility of the DataLink® web application. <br />A Proposal to Provide GIS Services to the City of Arden Hills
