<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018-048 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING THE <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the proposed Old <br />Snelling Bridge Project, State Aid Project 187-111-001. The plans and specifications have been <br />presented to the council for approval; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN <br />HILLS, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br /> 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part <br />hereof, are hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2. The City Administrator shall direct the City Engineer to insert in the official paper an <br />advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and <br />specifications. The advertisements shall be published for 21 days, shall specify the work to be done, <br />shall state that the bids will be received by the City C lerk until 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 4, <br />2018, at which time they will be publicly opened in the council chambers of the city hall by the City <br />Clerk and City Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be considered by the council at 7:00 p.m. on <br />September 10, 2018, in the council chambers of the city hall. Any bidder whose responsibility is <br />questioned during the consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address the council on <br />the issue of responsibility.
