<br /> <br />employees against and hold city, its officers, agents and employees harmless from any claims, <br />causes of action, damages, loss, cost, or expense resulting from or related to the actions of <br />Northstar Inspections Services Inc., its officers, agents, or employees in the performance of this <br />agreement. <br /> <br />5. Northstar Inspection Services Inc., its officers, agents, and employees do not assume <br />liability for any negligent or intentional acts of the City or any of its officers, agents, and <br />employees. The City shall indemnify and defend Northstar Inspection Services Inc., its officers, <br />agents, or employees against and hold City, its officers, agents, and employees harmless from <br />any claims, causes of action, damages, loss, cost, or expense resulting from or related to the <br />actions of the City, its officers, agents, or employees in the performance of this agreement. The <br />indemnification obligation of the City shall not exceed the limits of liability set forth in <br />Minnesota Statutes Chapter 466 or other applicable laws. <br /> <br />6. It is understood that the enforcement and administration of the Minnesota State Building <br />Code is a public service and is of necessity limited in nature. Consequently, building permits <br />and the subsequent building inspections are not to be construed or relied upon as any type of <br />warranty, guarantee, or representation on the part of Northstar Inspections Services Inc. <br /> <br />7. The City shall defend Northstar Inspections Services Inc. in matters of liability as <br />required by the MN State Building Code (Section 1300.0110. Subp. 9) The indemnification <br />obligation of the City shall not exceed the limits of liability set forth in Minnesota Statutes <br />Chapter 466 or other applicable laws. <br /> <br />IV. INSURANCE <br /> <br />Northstar Inspection Services Inc. shall secure and maintain the following minimum insurance <br />coverage: <br /> <br />1. Workers’ Compensation as required by Minnesota Law. <br /> <br />2. General liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 per claimant and $1,000,000 per <br />occurrence. <br /> <br />3. Commercial auto liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 per claimant and <br />$1,000,000 per occurrence. <br /> <br />Page 4 <br /> <br /> <br />4. Professional liability insurance covering Northstar Inspection Services Inc. for liability <br />incurred in performing its professional services. Coverage shall be in the amount of $1,000,000 <br />per claimant and $1,000,000 aggregate per occurrence. <br />
