<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Page 3 <br />c. Coordinate Reference System <br />i. Mapping data will utilize the Ramsey County Coordinate System, NAD83 (1986 <br />adjustment). Published MNDOT Geodetic Stations and Public Land Survey <br />corners as noted and published by the Ramsey County Survey Division or <br />Ramsey County control monuments may be relied upon to establish the <br />coordinate system. <br />ii. Elevations will be based upon NAVD88. All units (horizontal and vertical) will be <br />in US Survey feet and given to the 0.01 foot. <br />d. Mapping (CAD) Files <br />i. CAD files provided by surveyor shall be drawn using NCS (National CAD <br />Standards) for layer naming. Layer color and line type shall follow MnDOT. <br />e. A text (txt) file of all survey point coordinates <br />i. including project control, in the following format: Point Number, Northing, Easting, <br />Elevation, Description (P,N,E,Z,D). The survey point code key used must be <br />provided along with the survey point file. <br />f. A statement describing control monuments <br />i. from which both vertical and horizontal data were derived and the project site <br />local control to which those data were transferred and used for this survey, <br />including their coordinates, and locations. <br />g. A 2-D plainimetric file in AutoCAD 2015 (DWG) format. <br />i. Such file, named X-C-BASE, will show all survey located items and line-work with <br />a legend indicating all symbols used. It will also show spot elevations in text. <br /> <br />2. Construction documents (plan sheets) will include: <br />a. Title Sheet <br />b. Layout Sheet <br />c. State of Estimated Quantities <br />d. ADA Standard Plan Sheets <br />e. Intersection Detail Sheet – including ADA Gutter Control Point tables <br />f. Typical Striping Sheets <br />g. RRFB Detail Sheet (with solar panel energy source) <br />h. Signing Sheets and Tabulations including RRFB’s <br />i. Alternate Pedestrian Route Sheets <br />j. Traffic Control Sheets <br /> <br />3. Special provisions <br /> <br />4. Engineer’s construction cost estimate <br /> <br />5. Review of shop drawing submittals limited to: bituminous mix design, concrete mix design, <br />traffic control layout(s), truncated domes, and Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon’s. <br /> <br />6. Construction administration, staking, and observation <br />a. Mark removal extents for sidewalk and pedestrian refuge <br />b. Stake curb and gutter for pedestrian ramps and pedestrian refuge – one-time staking, <br />wrecked or ruined stakes are re-staked at cost of the contractor. Stake RRFB base <br />locations.
