CONSENT ITEM — V <br />�- kDEN HILLS <br />MEMORANDUM <br />DATE: September 23, 2019 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br />Dave Perrault, City Administrator <br />FROM: Mike Mrosla, Community Development Manager/City Planner <br />SUBECT: Public Notification Process for Planning Land Use Application Policy <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br />N/A N/A N/A <br />For Council Consideration <br />Council shall consider approving the revised the Land Use Application Public Notification <br />Policy to include neighborhood meetings. <br />Background <br />At their August 12, 2019 workshop meeting the City Council discussed revising the Land Use <br />Application Public Notification Policy to included neighborhood meetings. During that meeting <br />the City Council provided staff with feedback on neighborhood meetings notification mailing <br />distance and process. Staff then revised the existing policy to include neighborhood meetings <br />and outlined the meeting requirements for applicants. <br />Recommendation <br />The City Council is asked to approve the Public Notification Process for Planning Land Use <br />Application Policy. <br />Budget Impact <br />NA <br />Attachments <br />A.
