The job description for the <br />Assistant City Engineer will need to be reviewed, updated and included with the Council <br />approval should the City Council decide to move forward. <br /> <br />Budget Impact <br /> <br />Overtime costs for 2019 were approximately $9,600. Based on the events of 2019 (resignation <br />of the Public Works Director and filling that position with part time contract hours) the costs <br />incurred in 2019 are probably a little inflated. Staff will speak to the step being proposed at the <br />meeting, but the current estimate is that a budget adjustment will not be needed in 2020 due to <br />this change.
