∙ Building height. The vertical distance from the average elevation of the grade along a face of a building to the highest point of the roof surface of flat roofs, the deck line of mansard roofs, or the average height between the eaves and the highest ridge of gable, hip, or gambrel roofs. The height of a stepped or terraced building shall be the height of the tallest segment of the building. ∙ Building inspector. Any occupation, employment or enterprise wherein merchandise is exhibited and sold, or which occupies time, attention, labor and materials, or whereby services are offered for compensation. ∙ Business services. Services performed primarily for other businesses, including such services as secretarial, clerical, employment agencies, business machine service, printing, etc. ∙ Caliper inches. The clear vision area shall be an area within a triangle that is measured along the edge of the driving surface of the road at the intersection of two roads (public or private) and extending thirty (30) feet in each direction from the intersection with a line connecting the two end points.
