Page 2 of 4 <br />Consultant will conduct a topographic survey of the Cummings Lane project corridor to <br />collect elevations and locations of surface features. This task shall include the following <br />items. <br />A. Conduct field survey of the project area, with recommended survey boundary <br />approved by City Engineer prior to conducting field work. <br />B. Locate and survey property corner monuments adjacent to the street right of way <br />to the extent practical within the project area. <br />C. Conform to the following survey standards unless otherwise approved by the City. <br /> Reference Ramsey County Coordinate System, NAD83 (2011 adjustment). <br /> Elevations based upon NAVD88. All units (horizontal and vertical) will be in <br />US Survey Feet and given to the 0.01 foot. <br />D. Conduct utility One-Call locating request to identify and survey the location of <br />existing underground utilities. <br />E. Produce base map of the project area depicting locations of existing surface <br />features, contour lines, curb stop locations, underground utilities and overhead <br />utilities. <br />F. Submit base map to City for review prior to initiating design work. <br /> <br />TASK 4: Design Analysis: Consultant will conduct the following analysis during the <br />early stages of the project design process. <br />A. Review all data and information as outlined in Task 2 along with field observations <br />and field survey information. <br />B. Review the recommended scope of improvements and cost estimates provided in <br />the Feasibility Report. <br />C. Prepare a brief technical memorandum summarizing the consultant’s suggested <br />changes in the project scope for street and utility improvements that may differ <br />from the findings of the Feasibility Report. <br />D. Review technical memorandum with City staff to establish the final scope of <br />infrastructure and pedestrian mobility improvements. <br /> <br />TASK 5: Project Plans: Consultant will prepare construction plans and an opinion of <br />probable cost (OPC) for City approval, procurement of bids and construction. This task <br />shall include the following items. <br />A. Prepare plan set including, but not limited to, the following sheets: <br /> Title Sheet <br /> Statement of Estimated Quantities <br /> Tabulation of Utilities and Features <br /> Construction Notes and Standard Plates <br /> Removal Sheets <br /> Construction Staging/Sequencing Sheets <br /> Traffic Control Sheets <br /> Street and Drainage Plan and Profile Sheets <br /> Water and Sanitary Sewer Plan and Profile Sheets <br /> Erosion Control and SWPPP Sheets <br /> Cross Sections Sheets
