The difference is an <br />indication there is still competitive bidding even with the current higher material prices. <br /> <br />Bolton & Menk has worked with Vinco Inc. on a few projects and does not see any concerns <br />with their performance on lift station projects. Attached is a letter (Attachment A) from Bolton & <br />Menk recommending award to Vinco Inc. as the lowest responsible/responsive bidder. <br />Attachment B is Resolution 2021-034 awarding the Lift Station 10 Rehabilitation Project to <br />Vinco Inc. in the amount of $130,700.00. Staff recommends adoption of Resolution 2021-034. <br /> <br />Budget Impact <br /> <br />A summary of the estimated project costs and funding sources is provided below: <br /> <br />Total Project Costs <br /> Construction Cost $ 130,700.00 <br /> Pumps and Control Panel $ 80,115.00 <br /> Engineering Services $ 49,400.00 (Includes Construction Admin.) <br /> Misc. (Legal, Ads) $ 206.95 <br /> TOTAL $ 260,421.95 <br />. <br />This project will be covered by the sanitary sewer fund but the total project cost is $80,422 over <br />the budgeted amount.
